Hi Dirk,

As you may know, I have been actively involved with animal rescue for many years. While on vacation in Atlanta this past October, my wife and I rescued a dog found running on a busy highway without any identification. We named the dog Mr. Handsome. During the brief time we spent with Mr. Handsome, he was nervous, yet clearly wanted love and attention.

Thankfully, after making many calls, we were able to find an animal rescue in Atlanta willing to take Mr. Handsome. However, Mr. Handsome, accustomed to running on the loose, is not adjusting well to life in a kennel. Mr. Handsome is being transported to our area and I am trying my best to find him a home. So, while I rarely use Melodee Music e-mails as a forum for personal matters, this plea is an exception.

Mr. Handsome is a Rottweiler Hound mix, weighs about 70 pounds, and is approximately three years old. He is neutered and has all of his shots. Mr. Handsome is timid and will require a patient and understanding owner. While Mr. Handsome seems to like other dogs, he would likely be best suited in a home without other dogs because he needs undivided attention. A photo of Mr. Handsome is attached.
