Scene from Afar is a re-issue of a 1987 vinyl album of all original material, featuring

Seldom Scene musicians.  This banjo cut was a Ben Eldridge contribution.  All album

cuts contained Washington DC references, and I named Ben’s selection “Banjo Whip” (in

reference to a governmental “Whip”.)
