This summer marks the 46th year that we have produced the Deer Creek Fiddlers Convention. What makes it work is a lot of hard work on the part of many volunteers, and most importantly, your presence as musicians! We need you to show up, play some music, win some prizes, win some Eastman instruments, win an appearance at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival (August 16-19) and appearances the Common Ground on the Hill Festival (July 14th).
Please consider coming to Deer Creek and entering our contests and play some shade-tree music to help keep this event alive and robust! Be part of a 46-year tradition! There are bluegrass, old-time and Celtic categories.
We have moved Deer Creek to a Sunday, figuring that you would be more likely to be able to be with us on a Sunday, rather than a Saturday ….. prime-time for gigs. The Deer Creek Fiddlers Convention is Sunday, June 3rd.
