"Nothin' Fancy is one of the most entertaining bands in the bluegrass genre and has received awards recognizing that fact multiple times. Since formed in 1994, they have grown in popularity, released 11 full length albums, and continue to perform at festivals across the United States, Canada and Europe. Their strong vocals, powerful instrumentation, energetic stage presence and their friendly, down-to-earth charm keeps people coming back. Doors open at 6 p.m. and showtime is 7 p.m. The Bluegrass Bar series at Frying Pan's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park and Vienna Hardwoods in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door."
