There is a Veterans fundraiser open mic at John Lyon VFW in Arlington this
Sat night. There are still open slots.

From the West/Beltway: Proceed east/ inbound on Interstate 66 to Exit
72 Lee Highway/Spout Run. Turn right at the signal onto Lee Highway.
Go about one mile to Bergmann Cleaners on the left at Veitch Street
(the one syllable "V" street). Turn right onto Veitch, then an
IMMEDIATE left onto 19th Street. Post is on the right at the end of
the block.

Come out and support the local veteran community by listening to good
music, having a drink, and spending time with friends!

This marks the 3rd Open Mic Night we have held in conjunction with
Guitars for Vets this year. Each one has been bigger with more
musicians than the time before! You do not want to miss out on this
event!

The VFW 3150 Canteen serves beer, wine, and hard cider. (Prices
starting at just $2.50!). ATM on site.

* PARKING: there is a small lot on site and there is limited street
parking available in the area. The Post is a short .4 mile walk from
the CourthouseMetro station - we encourage using public
transportation.
