[dcab-l] Many thanks to all

Today, February 6, 2017,  Bluegrass Country passed into the hands of the Bluegrass Country Foundation. If you turn on your radio in DC to 105.5FM (or 88.5FM HD 2 or stream it at bluegrasscountry.org) you will hear bluegrass and roots music coming out of the speakers. This was never a foregone conclusion. We deeply thank everyone who made a contribution to the cause. The DC bluegrass community (and beyond)  really pulled together to make this a reality.

Now in the tradition of all public radio, our work continues. Please keep those donations coming! We are in the process of setting up the ability to receive sustaining memberships. I'll keep you posted. As always, you can make a donation here.

Mark your calendars for the big Bluegrass Country benefit concert Sunday April 23 at the Falls Church in Falls Church, VA. The stellar lineup includes Tim O'Brien, Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper, Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass, Larry Stephenson Band and Jim Hurst. Tickets will be on sale soon.

All the best,

Randy
