[dcab-l] The Chuck Wagon Gang

WOW is the only thing that comes to mind to describe THE CHUCK WAGON GANG concert on Sunday, October 4th. This band started in 1936 doing what is generally known as 'grass roots Gospel music' and the tradition, and almost 80 year legacy, continue today. Absolutely marvelous four part vocal harmony and rock solid guitar accompaniment along with a goodly share of humor made for an afternoon of great listening that all could enjoy. Many thanks to The Chuck Wagon Gang for such a superb concert and to all who attended for their enthusiasm and their tremendous 'clapping' abilities - lol

[dcab-l] Split String Soup October Gigs

We have several gigs coming up in and around the area in October.

First, we were scheduled to play the Harvest Moon Festival this weekend, but it has been cancelled due to weather. We thought it fitting to invite the Shelf Life String Band, also affected by the cancellation, to split the bill with us this Saturday at Lost Rhino. Let the good will flow like the rushing waters of the Shenandoah River underneath the Harvest Moon!
