Hank Dietle's Tavern is the oldest bar in Montgomery County. After a devastating fire in February of 2018, Dietle's has literally risen from the ashes and been renovated as an intimate venue with live music programming seven nights a week.
Blue Spruce is a hard-driving traditional and original bluegrass band based in the Washington, DC area. Featuring Ed Schaeffer on vocals and guitar, Barb Diederich on vocals and standup acoustic bass, Keith Arneson on banjo, and Will Sears on fiddle, they perform traditional bluegrass with a contemporary flair, blending exciting instrumental work with exquisite vocal harmonies. Their repertoire includes traditional bluegrass, golden-era country music, and original songs penned by Ed and Barb. Highly regarded in the bluegrass community, Blue Spruce has been described as an ear-popping delight!
