We are excited to welcome The Edgar Loudermilk Band with guitar powerhouse, Jeff Autry, back to the Listening Room at Drum & Strum this Friday night, September 22nd at 8pm. This will be an evening of world class acoustic music that will take you on a musical journey spanning styles from bluegrass to jazz, swing, hard driving country and beyond. Tickets are $20, seating is limited and advance purchase recommended. Children 12 and under admitted free.

[dcab-l] The Farm Hands Quartet

STUNNING is the word that first crosses my mind about the concert by the FARM HANDS QUARTET (http://www.farmhandsquartet.com) at the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series in Herndon, Virginia last night. SPOT-ON also comes to mind amid a myriad of other glowing terms. Not only was the music stellar but the band's involvement with their audience was magical, and, oh yeah the humor abounded. You really have to experience their music 'in person' to believe it. Great musicians and great people - a combination you can't beat. Many, many thanks to Daryl Mosley, Tim Graves, Keith Tew and Don Hill for a magnificent night of music and fun. Many thanks also to our patrons for their continuing support of the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series.
