Enjoy an evening with legendary master guitarist, storyteller, and luthier, Wayne Henderson along with singer, fiddler, guitarist, and tunesmith, Helen White in Gloria's Listening Room located at 92 Main Street in Warrenton on Saturday, August 17th. A Southwest Virginia native, Henderson's playing and guitars are known around the world. Henderson is revered as the master builder of our time, and has crafted instruments for guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Brad Paisley, and Doc Watson. An accomplished fingerstyle guitarist, Henderson's guitar playing has been enjoyed at Carnegie Hall, the White House, in three national tours of Masters of the Steel-String Guitar, and in seven nations in Asia.
Tickets are $25 and seating is limited so advanced purchase is recommended. Children 12 and under are admitted free with parent. Doors open at 7:30 and the concert begins at 8pm. The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to enriching the quality of life, cultural diversity, mental wellness and vitality of our community through music and the performing arts.
