Friday, we've got the 2017 Mid Atlantic Bluegrass Band Competition, thanks in large order to Tom Mindte and Patuxent Music, followed by the BEST in contemporary bluegrass in Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen/Love Canon/ Flatt Lonesome and Charm City Junction. The place is going to stomping and you need to be right there stomping along with it! Be there!
Saturday is a Marathon of tone, taste and timing that will get you going after a long night of jamming. The coffee will help too. Beanetics, baby! A favorite of those in VoVa, our MD buds need to try some too! We've been working on some Bluegrass blends that will get folks going. My favorite so far- 'Mighty Fine' Big Mon Blend. You'll need to be here to sample the others.
So, C'mon, step out this weekend and support the local scene- be seen and heard a the 2017 DC Bluegrass Festival. Tix are still available, and it wont be the same without you!
