[dcab-l] Ed's Original Song: Orphan's Lament

Here’s a recording of an original Ed Schaeffer song: "Orphan’s Lament", written

about 2010 and recorded in 2021. My maternal grandmother had two families, 3 kids

each to two husbands.  Whatever the reasons, through time, she abandon them all

to Lutheran orphanages.  Hence, everyone in my family seems to be an orphan.

This song was originally recorded in my garage with an H4n handheld, including

bass, guitar and vocals, but no overdubs.  Later, the tracks were moved to Gizmo

studio to add Tad Marks’ fiddle.

to sing it.
