[dcab-l] Che Apalache at B Chord

If you missed this band on their just concluded tour, you can still catch them on YouTube. Fortunately B Chord has pro-grade recording and switching equipment and did a great job this evening streaming live. If you haven't heard of them they are a quartet based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Their founder is from North Carolina, two of the others are Argentinian, and the fourth is from Mexico. They call themselves a LatinGrass group. They made such a wave on their tour that NPR radio had them in the studio for an interview/performance.

[dcab-l] DCBU Fall Pick-nic on Monday, October 8th

Special DCBU event:

Monday, October 8th, is a federal holiday and the DCBU will be hosting the DCBU Fall Pick-nic. Join us on Columbus Day for jamming and jawing at the VFW Post #350 in Takoma Park, MD. All are welcome and we encourage you to bring a side dish to share. Burgers and dogs off the grill are courtesy of DCBU (i.e., thanks to our members and donors). Come rain or shine, from 2:00-6:00 PM. The event is free. If you know anyone who might like to come, please pass this message along to them. Thanx!
